The Shipyard
The Shipyard is Tourism Summerside's main tourist venue.

The Shipyard is located on Water Street west right next to The Baywalk,
a 4.67 klm boardwalk that overlooks Summerside harbour and area.

The Shipyard  is home to The Lobster House Restaurant, which features
delicious seafood for your  dining pleasure. Be sure to relax at one of
our outside decks while soaking in the atmosphere of our gorgeous
view of the Summerside harbour and area.

This year you can visit The Boat House, which  has Sporting Intentions
equipment and apparel, an Ice Cream Parlour, and Tourist Information.

Also new this year is The Kayak Shed which features kayak and bicycle
rentals.

As well The Shipyard Crafts & Treasurers shop has art, quilts, carvings,
jewellery, ornaments, wall hangings, souvenirs and many other unique
gifts made locally.

The Shipyard also hosts regular entertainment and is available for
private functions.
