The College of Piping &
Celtic Performing Arts Of
Canada
The College of Piping and Celtic Performing Arts of Canada,
based in Summerside, Prince Edward Island, has been
actively promoting and preserving Celtic culture and
heritage by offering instruction in Highland Bagpiping,
Scottish style Snare Drumming, Highland Dancing and Step
Dancing.

The College of Piping and Celtic Performing Arts of Canada
presents a summer-long Celtic Festival. The Summerside
Highland Gathering kicks off the summer in June  with
concerts and competitions.  

It begins with a round of competitions in Highland dancing
and step dancing , then features  Solo events for piping
beginning Saturday morning . Drumming solos , as well with
Pipe Band competitions begin Saturday afternoon.

The Celtic Concert Series runs through July and August,
with the summer production of "Highland Storm" every
Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday night at 7:30.  It is an
incredible show of music, dancing, piping and drumming
with students and faculty.
